Lanxape* is a horticultural building company based in Oakland. We design and make new gardens, we restore old gardens and we maintain and develop gardens over time. We do native and non-native plant design and good-looking hardscape design. We build garden elements using wood, stone, concrete, brick, steel, aluminum, copper, water and sometimes just plain old dirt. We have 40 years experience growing plants in California. We are looking for new landscaping projects that are seriously drought loving gardens and/or fire-resistant, and/or gardens for wildlife and habitat (including ponds and meadows). We love solving difficult problems in gardens - try us! Our current ideal client would be interested in reducing plastic in the garden and willing to embrace a new kind of drought loving beauty and seasonality. Also someone who open to a little risk and a little adventure! Finally, we are up for new maintenance projects where we can improve an existing garden on an ongoing basis.
